With the BIO-Liner, SWIETELSKY-FABER offers an innovative close-fit lining system that rehabilitates pipelines trenchlessly while setting new standards in resource conservation.

The BIO-Liner consists of 100% bio-based raw materials such as recycled wood waste and ethanol. It contains no fossil-based ingredients, is recyclable up to eight times, and is certified with the “Proof of Sustainability” by the RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials).

In this way, the BIO-Liner combines the advantages of modern pipe rehabilitation with a significantly reduced environmental footprint.

This is how the BIO-Liner works

The BIO-Liner is a close-fit relining system in which a prefabricated, flexible pipe is pulled into the existing line.

After installation, the pipe is brought back into its original shape by pressure and heat and fits tightly against the inner wall of the old pipe. This creates a new, tight, and durable pipe system within the existing line.

The work is carried out trenchlessly via existing access points such as shafts. This avoids extensive earthworks and significantly reduces impacts on traffic, residents, nature, and existing infrastructure.

How is the BIO-Liner installed?

The BIO liner is inserted into the existing pipeline via existing access points such as shafts. The folded pipe is then restored to its original shape using pressure and heat and permanently pressed against the inner wall of the old pipe.

This creates a new, sealed pipe within the existing line.

Where is the BIO-Liner manufactured?

The BIO-Liner is manufactured in Sweden and meets high quality and sustainability requirements.
